About

A new, remote-only managed service provider in Sofia, Bulgaria, looking after networks and IT for small businesses across the EU. Who we are and how we work.

CyberGuard Networks is a new managed service provider based in Sofia, Bulgaria. We look after networks and IT for small and mid-sized businesses across the European Union, and we do all of it remotely.

Why we started

Small companies tend to get one of two kinds of IT help. A large provider that treats a 30-person office as a ticket number, or a friend of a friend who set up the router years ago and has since moved on. Neither leaves you with a network you understand.

We want to be the third option: engineers who explain what they’re doing, write it down, and give straight answers about what you need and what you don’t.

Why remote-only

Almost everything a small office network needs, from firewall rules and VLANs to Wi-Fi tuning and VPNs, can be done over a secure remote connection. Not sending technicians around Europe keeps our costs, and yours, down.

The trade-off is real: if you need someone at your desk the same day, we’re not the right provider, and we’d rather tell you that now.

What we believe

  • Your network belongs to you. Passwords, diagrams and configuration notes stay with you, so you can leave us whenever you want.
  • Plain language. If we can’t explain a change in a sentence, we shouldn’t be making it.
  • EU rules matter. NIS2, GDPR and the Cyber Resilience Act change what’s expected of companies and their suppliers. We follow them closely and explain what they mean for you, without pretending to be lawyers.
  • Honesty about being new. We don’t have a wall of client logos yet. We’d rather earn trust with useful guides and good work than with claims we can’t back up.
